The Mustapick Aurora

This is a relatively large bodied guitar (16" lower bout) designed to be played at concert pitch or in drop/open tunings such as DADGAD. Standard scale length on this model is 25.5", and longer custom scale lengths are available for customers who want to prioritize those slightly lower tunings. With regard to tone, I follow one simple principle; I'm looking for more of everything. That means great volume, low lows, high highs, and sustain across a great dynamic range and in all registers. With this guitar the basses are very full and rich, but focused and never muddy. The midrange of any guitar is the real sweetspot of its timbre. A strong upper midrange provides a kind of "sweetness". Fat trebles with sustaining upper partials provide a bell-like tone.

Koa-Top/Ebony | Engelmann Spruce/Wenge

This Aurora features several options; the Ryan Armrest Bevel, the Side Soundport, and Multi-Scale Geometry. Its woods are as follows: Engelmann spruce top; wenge back and sides and headplates, bloodwood binding and rosette, and ebony fingerboard and bridge.
